Healers and Practitioners

Hello! I'm Megan (she/her) and it's nice to meet you. I wear many hats including being a mom, wife, friend, yogi, community volunteer, and Registered Provisional Psychologist in Calgary, AB.  I have been registered (in good standing) with the College of Alberta Psychologists since 2021.

Life is messy and there is no one solution that works in all situations. It is my goal to address and meet the needs of families—wherever they are along their unique journey. I work with children (5-17 years old) and their families, providing either individual or family therapy. I have extensive experience working with families involved with multiple systems. As well as families faced with concerns related to parent-children relationship concerns, intergenerational trauma, violence/aggression, and emotional/behavioural dysregulation. Common presenting concerns I work with (but not limited to) include: anxiety, attachment concerns, divorce, depression, perfectionism, suicide ideation, nonsuicidal self-injury, post-traumatic spectrum disorder, sexually intrusive behaviours (12-17 years old). I utilize an integrative therapeutic approach of evidence-based therapies specific to your unique needs and goals. I most commonly draw upon, solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), play therapy (specifically, sand tray), and family systems therapy (SFT). I am also trained in accelerated resolution therapy (ART). ART is an evidence-based therapy commonly used to treat post-traumatic stress through the use of eye movements.
