We believe everyone has their own way to explore, connect, grow and heal. This is why Kula Holistics offers a variety of approaches and modalities. Whether you are looking for support with mental health, confidence, relationships, identity or the unraveling and re-integration of trauma, we will work collaboratively to align with your goals and approach them in the way that works best for you.

Counselling & Therapy

Contrary to popular demand, life is not always predictable, linear or safe. Our world is filled with challenges that present on an individual, familial, social and societal level. Sometimes, things become too much for us to navigate on our own. We can feel lost, confused, scared and alone. At Kula, we believe connection and a sense of belonging is the cornerstone to moving through difficult times and towards a sense of wellness.

Counselling and talk therapy can be utilized to support and treat a variety of issues including:

  • Mental Health

  • Relationship/Interpersonal Issues

  • Family Dynamics (Including adoption, foster and kinship care, parent-child interactions)

  • Couples/Marriage Counselling

  • Healthy Boundaries

  • Workplace Challenges

  • Self-esteem and Identity

  • Life stressors and challenges

  • Grief/Loss

  • Addiction (substance and behavioural)

  • Suicide/Non-suicidal self-injury

  • Building a bettter understanding of self and wellness

50 minute session - $180

80 minute session - $250

Although these are the standard fees for service, fees may vary by practitioner. Please discuss with your therapist to confirm costs or discuss sliding scale options.

Service providers may be able to provide a receipt for submission to applicable insurance plans. Please check with your individual insurance providers to see what is covered.

Expressive Arts Therapy.

Something changes inside us when we imagine, explore, create and embody a creative practice. Expressive Arts Therapy utilizes a multi-modality approach that may include visual arts, music, movement, drama, poetry/written work.

Although this may resonate at first to those of you already involved in a creative practice, Expressive Arts Therapy is for everyone - you do not need to an “artist” to engage in this therapeutic process.

Expressive Arts Therapy is evidenced to support the treatment and healing of challenges that may include:

  • Self-Esteem and Identify

  • Relationship Issues

  • Mental Health Challenges

  • Emotional Regulation

  • Trauma

  • Healthy Boundaries

  • Addiction/Substance Use

  • Life stressors and other challenges

  • Building Internal Resources/Strengths

Group Offerings

You’re invited to joining Kula Holistics through one our group sessions and events. Although Kula is an inclusive place built on community and belonging, some of these events may be catered towards a specific demographic. If you are interested in something specific, please use our contact form.

Women’s Fire Circle

Intentional connection time between women of all ages.

Location: Kula Holistic Services

November 8th, 2023 7:00-9:00pm

December 20th, 2023 7:00-9:00pm

February 12th, 2024 7:00-9:00pm

Join us for an evening of community building, connection, reflection and intentional held space. This is a group for women of all ages. This group fosters intergenerational support, understanding and wisdom. Please register by emailing sarah@wildpassages.ca or by clicking this link.

Mala Making

Energetic Intention setting workshop.

Age 16+

Location: Bowness Arts, 6326 Bowness Road NW

January 2024 DATES TBD

Goal: Carve out intentional time to connect with your inner wisdom as we sink into our intentions for the upcoming year. In this workshop, you will be guided to develop an individual mantra and create a crystal-beaded mala necklace. This mala will serve as a tangible object to hold and represent the energy and self-trust you wish to bring forward into the new year.

Creative Writing

Friday’s 5:00-6:30PM

Join Sarah Dubreil-Karpa @wildpassages in her weekly creative writing drop-in group. This is a space to unwind, and connect to ourselves, our emotions, and our creativity. No experience is necessary.
